I may be the only participant of the recent racket escapes trip to Turkey that is not a member of Jamie’s club, but I know for sure I was the person who travelled the furthest to attend (coming from Louisiana in the States)! I was invited by a friend (Husni Kharouf) and he was the only person I knew going into this trip. Coming away from it, I’ve made a number of new friends. I have already recommended this trip to friends of mine in the states, and plan to attend again in the future. There were so many great things about this trip, I fear I will leave some out. The coaching was wonderful, with a great ratio of approximately 1 coach per 7 players. There was a great mix of skill-focused drills as well as tactics focused match-play situations. There was a wide level of skill/experience in attendance, which I think enhanced the value for everyone. The resort was phenomenal. Although I had the additional cost of traveling from the states, I found this trip to be a tremendous value! Highly recommended! Don (April, 2025)
