Racquet Escapes is the brainchild of Warwickshire based Tennis coach and semi-professional Tennis player, James (better known to his peers and friends as ‘Jamie’) Taylor. A LTA level 4 coach and 2023 Team GB Men’s over 35 player.
From picking up his first racket at the tender age of 5, to competing for Berkshire county as a junior team player, Jamie has racked up the accolades during his impressive career having once ranked 62 in British Men’s Tennis.
With coaching experience developed from numerous well received tennis holidays for local clubs; creating our own brand of personalised tennis trips was an obvious decision. Since launching our first successful Escape to Portugal in 2024 we have expanded Racquet Escapes to include several more luxurious destinations including Greece and Turkey.
Our focus is to deliver the highest quality coaching from professionally qualified coaches in a friendly and relaxed format, followed by the freedom to join in organised social activities or do your own thing in the evenings.
With big plans in the works to expand to padel and explore even more fabulous destinations with you all, our team invites you to be a part of this exciting journey and join us on one of our upcoming trips.
